BTR Between-the-Rail Unit Coolers

PC Series

  • Large product freezer/cooler, penthouse and carcass chilling.
  • Optimized coil geometry, special fin design and a modular fan motor system.
  • Available in 111 models with various fan discharge arrangements.
  • 1-4 fans discharge available with horizontal, penthouse and 45° down housing.
  • Tubes are ¾” OD staggered in the direction of air flow. Turbo spacers are located between tubes to provide nominal 3 or 4 fin per inch spacing and improve fin efficiency by turbulating the air flow.  Tubes also available in 1” OD.
  • Three fan speeds: 870, 1160, 1750 RPM.
  • Motors wired in individual terminal blocks.
  • Type of fan: Cast aluminum propeller for longer air throws and external static pressure up to ½ w.g.
  • Tonnage Range: 5 – 70 tons (17.6kw to 246kw).
  • Motor hp Range: 1.0 – 7.5hp

LPC Series

  • Designed for applications where ceiling height is limited.
  • Cast aluminum fans for peak performance in all applications.
  • Available with 2,4, 5 and 6 fans.
  • Tubes are ¾” O.D. staggered in the direction of air flow. Turbo spacers are located between tubes to provide nominal 3 or 4 fin per inch spacing and improve fin efficiency by turbulating the air flow.
  • Type of fan:  Axial.
  • Tonnage Range:  4-27 tons.
  • Motor HP Range: 0.5-2.0hp.
  • Two Fan Speeds: 870, 1160 RPM.
  • Motors include an automatically resetting thermal overload switch.
  • Motor hp Range: 1.0 – 7.5hp
  • All motors wired to a single terminal block.

CF II Series

  • Unit can be ceiling hung or platform mounted.
  • Utilized for ductwork, wine cellars and barrel rooms.
  • Efficient, forward curved centrifugal blower coolers and freezers engineered for high external static pressure and noise sensitive applications.
  • Available in 30 models with varying motor/blower combinations.
  • Fan discharge can be horizontal, vertical up, vertical down.
  • Type of Fan: Centrifugal.

FL Series

  • Floor mounted for coolers and freezers.
  • Efficient forward curved centrifugal blower coolers and freezers engineered for high external static pressure and noise sensitive applications.
  • Available in 30 models in front or top discharge arrangement.
  • Can be located within the cooler or outside the room ducted from the discharge.
  • Type of fan:  Centrifugal.
  • Tonnage Range:  2.5 – 47 ton (8.8-165.4KW).
  • Motor HP Range: 1 – 50 hp.
  • Quiet operation.
  • Water defrost capable.

STC Series Low Profile

  • Type of fan: Axial.
  • Tonnage Range:  1.0 – 40 tons.
  • Motor HP Range:  1/3  – 2hp.
  • Two fan speeds: 850, 1140 RPM.
  • Three fan diameters: 24”, 30”, 36”.
  • All motors wired into single terminal block.
  • Motors include an automatically resetting thermal overload switch.

PR Series

  • Specialized unit cooler for produce ripening rooms.
  • Air by-pass side ports allow high DFM circulation rates while limiting the coil face velocity to 600 FPM preventing moisture carryover.
  • Blower and coil assemblies may be separated allowing the blower section to be lowered for replacement of shafts or bearings while the coil and piping remain in place.
  • Close spaced 3/4 O.D. tubes are staggered in direction of air flow.
  • Copper tubes are expanded into aluminum fin collars for positive contact.
  • Copper tube/aluminum fin coils are applicable for glycol brines, water and direct expansion (DXF) or recirculated (RTF) halocarbons.
